Room 3 Rocks!

We bounce through the door each morning ready to go! We love our school, teachers and everyone else who comes along to visit us. We try to keep fit with lots of sport, jump jam, cross country and swimming in the summer. Children publish new posts on the blog independently and so some spellings may not be correct. Come and have a look!

Bastille Day Bonanza!

Fordell School had an amazing 14th July celebrating Bastille Day.  Our inquiry topic this term has been France and our costume day and class picnics finished the term off perfectly.

Heaps of fantastic French food!
Max leading the Tour De France!
 Lauren as a French artist.
Wearing the colours of the French flag.  Well done Mitchell.
Another professional cyclist, great work John.

Football the most popular French sport.  Here's Seth, footballer extraordinaire.
A tough job for Mrs Jayes teaching an excited bunch about Moses!
French colours, face flags and moustaches for Ryan abive and Kyle below.

John and Connor showing off their face paints!

Moustaches galore in room 3.  Nice one Ben (below) and Seth (above).

Even the ladies have a moustache in our class!
George and Heike look cool too.

 Mademoiselle Rose!
 Top chef Georgia.
The Tour leader grows a quick moustache and beard.  It must have been a long ride!
 Cute Koby.
 Brilliant Blake, another footballer.
All ready for the school parade..

Even the teachers joined in!  Not looking too happy as Blip the mime clown Mrs Reddish.

More cyclists than you can shake a stick at (old Yorkshire expression!)
 Bon appetite

Full, happy and a little tired.  An awesome day.

Friday 1 July 2011

Ben has achieved 5 stars for hard work and received his certificate in assembly.
John received his certificate for gaining 15 stars for hard work.  He was also given a pencil from Mr Osmond for his exceptional presentation.
Max is student of the week because of his kindness to other children and his helpfulness around school.  Fantastic!
Seth and Lauren received values awards in assemby.  Our value of the week was confidence.  They look pretty confident to me!
