My Weekend by Charlie

On the weekend we were weaning and when we chalked the big lambs and we pot them on the truck.
On the Saturday before we did chalking we mustered all the sheep on the farm and the lambs that weren't going went in a paddock called heffa.

My Weekend by Caleb

On the weekend I did motor cross and there were big muddy patches. I was only facing one person and I won. Unfortunately there was no prize giving and then it was time to go home. I really enjoyed it.

Carlos

Friday was a sad day as we waved goodbye to Carlos.  He has been at Fordell for a year and has made a huge impact.  Carlos and his family are heading for an adventure in South America which sound very exciting.  We will miss him but know he will keep in touch and we can hopefully share in his adventure.

Pirates have telescopes so they can see people. They are thieves and their worst enemies are zombies!

Pirates are the sneakiest people on land. They are very,very stinky and haven't washed their undergarments for months. Pirates have a silver sword and a golden, amazing cannon. They live in a pretty, pirate, golden galleon.

Pirates live in ships all their lives and the captain has one leg and arm. They have golden guns and silver swords. Pirates are very,very cruel, mean and terrible. The skeletons are their enemy. They fight the skeletons and the pirates win the gold but sadly they were not rich because they were stinky, oooh!

fun run

On Sunday everybody in Fordell did the fun run. I was running with Nathan, Charlie and Andrew . I ran the 5km, it was hard. I hope everyone had a good day.

Mine and Dads fejoa eating competition!

On Sunday the 7th of June Dad and I had a fejoa eating competition! Whoever ate the most fejoas won! I got them from the garden with Mum and Max. My Dad ate 42 and guess how many my team ate? My team ate..... 50!  But surprisingly I didn't feel sick afterwards although I had to go toilet 4 times!

Mummy Gone! by Nathan

On Saturday, mum was gone for 1 night. She disappeared to her parents house in town on Nathan street. I didn't know much about it but she said she was going to a conference. I really enjoyed her not bossing us around at home. While she was sitting doing boring stuff in town dad and I made special jumps to ride our motorbikes over. Mitchell, Emma and I had lots of fun with dad. On the driveway there was a huge mud puddle and I had to drive through it! When my first wheel went into the slop it all splattered up onto my face. But I had plenty of fun. When mum came back Sunday afternoon she was very tired. But the best bit was we didn't need to vacuum!

On the weekend mum, dad, nana, Catie and I went roller skating. I had lots of fun. I fell on my bottom a couple of times. I really wanted to stay there longer but mum said we had to go.

One hundred and fifty years of Mcgregors

On Sunday it was one hundred and fifty years of Mcgregors. We had a party at my grans. All of my family went to the party. We had lamb sandwiches, strawberries and lots of other food. Annabelle, Tim and James are my friends that went. I gave all the adults a massage, lots of parents said thank you! It was really fun and I enjoyed it so much!

Bees (Wyatt)

Bees make yummy honey and they have beautiful colours and patterns such as black and yellow stripes. Bees live in bee hives. They are small but sometimes they are big and fat. They eat nectar off flowers. I found a bee outside and it was freezing and I brought it inside.

My Birthday by Nathan

Next Saturday coming is my ballistic birthday! My friends and I are going to the movies in town. I am very excited and so are my friends. We will come home and have some party food and a 3 layered cake. I don't have a wish planned for when I blow out my candles but I will think of one. After that we will sleep in the RED lounge next to my room. We will probably talk and chat all night. I will be turning 7. I can't wait!

My Weekend by Chase

On the weeekend I played on my tablet and I played minecraft it was fun. I got up to lots more things as well like playing with my baby brother, I played with my toys and I rode my bike. My favourite part of the weekend was riding my bike. I enjoyed my weekend.

Sophie`s 5th Birthday by Olivia

It was Sophie`s birthday party yesterday. She had her party at the Wanganui Boys and Girls Gym Club. She got lots of cool presents like a bouncy ball and some beads. I got her a Wonky Donkey book. It has lots of different stories in it. We jumped into the foam pit and bounced on the trampoline. We ate her birthday cake which had Ballerinas on top of it.

In the weekend I went to Sophie's birthday party. Then we went to Breea's birthday. There was cake at Sophie's and Breea's Birthday. For Sophie's Birthday we went to the Boy's and Girl's Gym and I jumped into the pit. At Breea's party we played with her toys with her. We gave Sophie a diary and a light up pillow pet and we gave Breea some talking toy dogs. I thought they were fun.

My mum is the coolest in the world  and so is dad. For my birthday I want a snowmobile. If I don't get one then I hope I get a new brother . My dad is the biggest in the family. Hockey by Grace

Every Wednesday it is hockey. Olivia, Toby, Deacon, Charlie, Duncan and I go. I love hockey.

Netball by Nathan

On Wednesday I do netball.  You have to run and get a hoop and do some practices.  You have to run backwards and skip and run forwards.  Parents have to hold up the net really high and we have to throw the ball in.

The weekend By Chase

In the weekend I went to my dad's house and I played on my tablet. My dad and I watched some rugby, we went to squash, I played with my sister and we went to the dump. I enjoyed going to my dad's house.

My Weekend by Olivia

On Saturday I stayed at home and helped mum with the gardening. On Sunday I went to the Churton School Fair with my mum, dad and friend Ella. It was so much fun. We brought some lollies which were really sweet and yummy. We also made a cupcake and got to eat it.  We saw a huge pumpkin on a trailer.

My Sister's Birthday By Nathan

On Saturday, my sister had a birthday and it was a little one! We went to Kowhai Park and had a small barbeque. I really liked the sausages! We went on the swings. My cousins and family came. I really enjoyed having my cousins there.

My Mum by Catie

My mum is very nice and kind.  When I hurt myself she always helps me.  It will be her birthday soon and she is going to Wellington with my dad.  My brothers and I are going to my Granny's and she is taking us to my Aunty's place.  Mum does lots of running and farming.  Mum is always beautiful.

The Art Gallery

Our visits to the Art Gallery are a very important element of our curriculum.  The Art Gallery and its’ expert teachers provides support for Fordell staff and much excitement and opportunities for our children.  You can see the children learning about the colour wheel and then making their own abstract paintings.  We appreciate your support with transport and supervision during our visits.  If you haven’t had the chance to come along yet, put it on your ‘must do’ list!

Week 1 2015

My Week by Grace A, Room 3

This week we did art and it was crayon fireworks.  The swimming pool was warm and I liked it.  I liked playing on the tramps.

My holiday by Catie, Room 3

I had my 6^th birthday at my Granny’s.  Me and one of my friends made the cake and it was amazing.  I had sweets in balloons and my friends Eva, Addie and Olivia came.

My week by Olivia, Room 3

I loved going to the pool and having Mrs Crazy Cranstone.  We made fireworks and we used dye and crayons.  I loved drama because we got to act.

My week by Chase, Room 3

Mrs Cranstone was teaching us this week.  I was playing on the tramp.  After school I got a blue and white drink bottle.  This week we went swimming and it was fun.  Yesterday we did drama.

I like Mum and Dad and Kindle.  I like to play soccer with Dad.  I like to swim with Dad.  I like to camp with Dad.  I like helping Mum.

In the holidays I went to Wellington and saw Nitro Circus.  I saw men do back flips and I saw a snow mobile.  On the way back I got black shoes and I got tattoos!
