Room 3 Rocks!

We bounce through the door each morning ready to go! We love our school, teachers and everyone else who comes along to visit us. We try to keep fit with lots of sport, jump jam, cross country and swimming in the summer. Children publish new posts on the blog independently and so some spellings may not be correct. Come and have a look!

My Puppies

My Puppies
A long time ago my dog had some puppies.  It was exciting.  When she had them they looked cute but they were too little to hold but a couple of days after they were ok to hold.  They felt soft then we sold them.  Now I miss them.  I liked it.

Perfect Patterns!

Today the children in Room 3 were looking at 'patterns' in maths.  They used a variety of materials to design their own repeating pattern.

Shape shifters

Room 3 have been learning about different shapes from triangles to octagons!  We used the foam shapes to make cool models too.

Super Science

In Science we have been learning about different sources of light.  We looked around the school taking photographs.  We have also been making shadow animals and have learned that a shadow is made when the light is blocked out.  Our silhouette pictures were hard for the rest of the school to identify!

Zappo magic!

On Friday 8th June Zappo the Magician arrived with gusto at Pre-school.  Room 3 were invited to join the pre-schoolers to share the entertainment.  We laughed and laughed and learned quite a bit too. Thanks Zappo.

The Thief

The thief
On a rainy day naughty James came in room three and it was his first day.  He barged into the cloak bay and a beautiful girl was frightened to death.  He hung his heavy bag on a peg.  He snuck into the classroom.  The teacher’s name was Mrs Reddish.
Naughty James wanted to steal the girl’s purse.  At morning tea he looked in her bag.  He pulled out an orange and yellow purse.  He got out what he wanted.  It was five cents but her cell phone fell out and smashed and after the cell phone, her glasses fell out and they smashed too!
But then a mysterious hand grabbed his shoulder.  He thought it was Mrs Reddish.  But it wasn’t Mrs Reddish, it was the Principal!  Naughty James ran away but then the Principal got him and then his mum got him and took him home and told him off.
